 Hi everyone! Today I´m going to talk about my English experience.  This year has been very intense and challenging because of the lockdown. On my daily routine, I have been using English while I’m watching movies and listening to music. I improve my English by watching tv, preferring American and British series, and it gets better everyday thanks to the university classes. Being able to use the blog to practice is fun and useful, it makes me write and learn with “day-to-day” words that I wouldn’t know any other way.  Still, my biggest challenge is speaking in English. I get very embarrassed when I have to talk because I’m not sure if my pronunciation is accurate, and its hard for me to find words that express what I want to say in the moment. To improve my speaking skills, I have planned to have a chat with my boyfriend, who talks a little bit more than me. That way I can practice with someone who won’t judge me. Hello everyone! Today I´m going to talk about my study program and possible changes for it. I hadn't really questioned this in a while but considering the virtual education I can think in possible changes.  I like the program of Psychology very much, I love that it has a basic cycle (first five semesters), a cycle of specialization (the last three semesters) and the last cycle of finalization (two semesters). The first cycle has a different kind of areas for give us a general panoramic of the psychology and after that we can choose how we want to finish the career, how we want to specialize.  The last three semesters have been more excited for me, because the variety of optative courses allow me to learn in depth the area of psychology specified, and also, allow me to know about theoretical perspectives of the violence, inequality and social problems. Hi everyone!  Today I´m going to talk about my postgraduate studies. Next year is my fifth year in the career and I pretend to do the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychoanalytic Clinic with Adults of this University.  I am interested in psychoanalysis clinic, and since the last year I have taken the curses associated with different theoretical moments , but we haven't review clinic strategies and this is very important, I could learn this in the diploma. Also, for me is very important to feel that I am prepared to work with people and to be a real support for them.  I have thought about continue my studies of psychoanalysis in another country like Germany or Italy, but I have to research about curses and places that I can learn, but places when I can live a culture experience too.  Sometimes I think in continue with de Magister that offers this university, I have a friend who studied it and she said that is a very good experience.  In this pandemic moment, is di...

Hi everyone!, today I will talk about my dream work for the future. For my is difficult to think of a specific dream job, but I can imagine important aspects to consider.  First, I am interested in different jobs. Could be outdoors experiences, but also in an office or a clinic a couple of days a week. I would like to travel for work, but that is not something usual because I think it is very tiring to have this life.  The most important for me is to be in a work that I am passionate about, and I could enjoy. I imagine myself working with groups who need more support, for example women who have suffering violence,  people with disabilities, people identified with LGTBIQ group, etc.  On another hand I like psychoanalysis and I hope to continue studying the diplomat and magister in Psychoanalysis clinical with adults.  Also, I have to mention that before study Psychology I finished my studies of acting in this university, now I am working with a theater company (s...

 Hi everyone!  Today I'm going to talk about the pandemic of covid-19, it was an experience that I never thought to live and this time has been very strange and special.  My family lives out of Santiago, so I can see them only for special occasions and I depend on government permission. All this time we talk between video calls and social media, I miss them so much. I hope this pandemic ends soon for travel and spend time with them without guilty.  But I can't say that all has been bad, because being at home has allow me spend time with Lisa (my cat). On the another hand, I discovered the sport of jumping rope. This hobby has been very important that allows me to be physically active and avoid stress.  My studies are not a problem, but is very tiring to be in a notebook all day and I miss so much the university live: spend time with my friends, know people, parties, etc. But I'm optimistic now, I think that this year the pandemic will end.  Here a picture o...

Hello everyone!  Today I´m going to talk about one of my favorite movie. Is very difficult for me to decide in only one movie, because there are many good movies un my list.  I choose to speak about "Mulán", but the new version on live action.  Mulán is the story of a girl who lives in a city of China and a war breaks out. She decided to go for the battle in the place of his father (because he was vey ill). For could survive to the war and don't be discover, she decide to acting like a man and wear his clothes, transforming into a soldier.  In this version of 2020, Mulán is a spectacular warrior since she was a girl, and the conflict was resolved for her warrior skills and no with the help of a man (like the original version). Also, the story show how woman hide their abilities for the roles of patriarchal society.  The acting and the images of the movie are so wonderful, the scenery of china are precious too!   The best concert I´ve had was the when Gustavo Cerati performed in May of 2007, in “Arena Santiago”, now known as “Movistar Arena”. Gustavo Cearti was an Argentinian musician known for the band “soda stereo” and a pioneer of latin rock, also he developed a cantatrice career that touched the lives of millions. This concert presented the album “Ahí vamos” and the atmosphere was very special. It was my first concert and it´s been one of the best experiencies that I´ve had. The whole show was exiting and emotional because is my favorite musician and I was 15 at that time.  I went with my sister and we traveled to Santiago very early in the morning, so we could have a good view of the show, we ended up in the second row and we saw him very close. We sang all the songs at the top of our lungs, specially the soda stereo hits that haven´t been performed in Chile since the last concert of the band in the 90s.   This show was very important for me because Cerati died in 2014 and ...

Hi everyone!   I really want to go to Italy one day, I think that is a very beautifull country, full of many lovely cities. I love italian food and I think that the culture is amazing. For example in this picture, we can see Sicilia. I would to stay in vacations in this beaches and can relaxing with the beautifull scenery. Also, I think that the architecture is very awesome, for example the Roman Coliseum. When I was a girl I loved the history of Roman people and I was obssesed with the movies about this epoch. I want to learn the language, for can speak with the people and share experiences. I hope that I can go to visit this places soon. Regards :)

Hi everyone ! My favorite serie is "Dorctor House", for me is a special serie beacuse I started to watch it when I lived with my grandmother and It make me think about very good memories. I like it because I don´t know any of medicine and it´s soy relaxing for me to see people thinking and don´t uderstand a word xd. And the characters are very special and funny. My favorite character is Doctor House, beacause is very intelligent and ironic. I also like Wilson, which is another character of the serie, he is the best friend of Dr. House and his relationship is very funny and lovely. Dr. house have 8 seasons of almost 25 episodes of 45 minutes each one. I watch Dr. House at list 3 times peer week, and I have seen the entire serie 2 times. ALso I love series like "Dark", "Friends" and "The handmaid´ts tale". Is very difficult to me to decided for one serie, but I still think that I will choose Dr. House beacuse I have seen it for many yea...

Hi everyone! I don´t have an exclusive favorite musician, but since a couple of years I discovered a british composer that I love! His name is James Blake. My favorites songs are "Retrograde", "Love me in wathever way" and a new song called "Are yo even real?" This songs accompanied me during de lockdown, even in some ocations James Blake did Instagram transmissions only with his voice and piano. This picture is during a Instagram Live. I like his music because is a mix between classic and electronic style, and his voice is very spectacular. Sometimes I listen his songs for read or study, also sometimes for running xd On another hand, James Blake make concerts for a fundation that help transexual people in economic and psychologic support. In general I like differents styles of music, for example I love Gustavo Cerati and Radiohead too.

 Hi everyone! This semester I enjoyed the class called "Freudomarxism".  This is an elective class about the intellectual exercise to connect the Marx´s theory with the Freudian metapsychology on purpose the develop of Capitalism. It's sounds very ambitious, but in the period of Frankfurt school in Germany, different authors made this exercise. Herbert Marcuse wrote in 1954 " Eros and civilization ", he explore the historic position of Freudian concepts in a subversive way, relating with the dynamic's exploitation of the capitalism.  Herbet Marcuse Basically, Marcuse said that the repression also come with the self-interest of the domineering groups. The repression is used for produce assets. If there are so many assets, why exist inequality?  For me it has been very interesting, because I think that the mental health is always related with the dominant economic and social system. Hi eveyone !  Mi favorite piece of technology is the smarthphone because allows me to be conected all the time between friends and family.  Specialy in quarentine times: the lock down and the distance with my family was very intense and I missed they so much. But between the videocalls and WhatsApp we even could celebrate my grandfather’s birthday  ❤️ , it was so exciting and very emotive for all of us.  I have this phone since May of this year and it has been a very good partner at the pandemic. It was very usefull for my work and the university. But, anyway , I think I could survive without    it. 

 Hi everyone! When I was a girl, I wanted to contribute to the society, I wanted to be a lawyer xd ajajaja and then, I Thought in acting or psychology. When I finished the school, I decided study Psychology in Viña Del Mar but I loved acting too. I decided Psychology because I was so scared about my future and, to study acting, I would had to live in Santiago for study in the university of Chile, because I did't want another University (only for acting).  I studied Psychology for two years, but in the process I realized that my passion was the theatre and I change to study Theatrical acting in the University of Chile: the process was so intense and stressfull but it was Wonderfull!  Hi Everyone! My name is Bárbara, I was born in Viña del Mar and I lived there until my 10 years. After that with my family we moved to Limache, also in the V region of Valparaiso, my family actually live there. I have a sister and a brother and we are very close, they mean all to me. Now, my sister is working in Santiago and is very nice because we see all the time and do many things together.  I studied in a lot of different schools because my parents are so special xd, but I finished  my elementary school in Villa alemana.
